appJobber is a crowdsourcing app with which you do micro jobs on your smartphone in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and many more European countries. Usually this entails collecting position based information. This means taking pictures of a specific location, giving a short description and recording the GPS position of the location. Furthermore it is sometimes required to walk a certain distance between waypoints. Upon successfull completion you receive the compensation according to the job description.

For companies this is an option to gather geografically scattered information and to take advantage of the instrument crowdsourcing. If you are interested in attaining this information and to function as a customer, please get in touch through support@appjobber.de.

appJobber is free of charge for our Jobbers. You will receive the whole reward amount mentioned in the job if your response is accepted. There will NOT be a 50% commission. This passage of the Terms and Conditions is for the clients. They pay 50% commission to the AppJobber platform for completed jobs. Anything stating otherwise is simply not true!

If you are 18 years old, download the app from GooglePlay or the AppStore and simply sign up on the app or at www.appjobber.de.

The map shows jobs in your area. When you click on a marker you will see what kind of job it is. To find jobs outside of your area, move the map and update it. By doing so you can see the available jobs in all of Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.

Currently, we have jobs almost everywhere in Europe. You can only do jobs in countries that have the same currency, as that of the country you registered your account in. For example, if you registered your account in Germany you can job in every country that has the Euro, a British jobber on the other hand can only job in the UK.

Scouting jobs are jobs that you can do in a specific region and are not linked to a position. For example reporting restaurants.

When a job is marked with a star symbol on the map, it means that it has been recently posted. This easily lets you know about new and exciting jobs. This doesn't change anything about how the job is to be done.

You can find out how much money you could get for a job by clicking on it. appJobber.de does not have any influence over the amount; the creator of the job decides this. The amount is usually determined based on the type of job and its complexity. At this time, at least 1€ is credited for each successfully completed job. The money is credited to you without deductions (provisions)!

A short description of the job is shown when you click on it, and the waypoints you must visit are highlighted on the map. For a more detailed description, click on "more information".
The button "start job" reserves the job for you for 3 hours during which no other Jobber can steal it from under your nose. Now start the points indicated to you by appJobber.. You can only upload your response when all the points are completed. You can always cancel the job by selecting the menu button cancel.

You can update your job descriptions after already completing the job. You just need to view your response and can " add comment". This comment will be considered when reviewing your response.

After your completed response is uploaded, it will be reviewed by the customer usually this takes 2 weeks, 4 weeks max. If your response is accepted, the agreed amount will be credited to your AppJobber account.

Your response will be rejected, if it does not follow the directions and the client does not get the information required.

You will find a list of your completed jobs, along with their status, under "My Jobs" at appjobber.de. To see the details of a response, simply click on "view".
You can follow the status of your job by clicking on "My Jobs" on the app's screen.

If your response is rejected you have a chance to appeal the decision with in two weeks by going to the "Appeal" link in your decision letter. At that time, your response will be reviewed again along with your reason for appeal.

You can always, via the appropriate button, send an invoice to appJobber and collect your reward. You will then receive a receipt via email, and the corresponding amount will be transferred to your account.

In order to submit for an invoice, you must fully complete your profile.

If you forgot your password, you can request a new one at appJobber.de.

If you no longer wish to receive a Newsletter, then uncheck the corresponding options from your profile under "Notifications".

If you would like to leave AppJobber and have your account and all the information on it deleted, then please send an email to support@appjobber.de.

Then simply send an email to support@appjobber.com. We would be happy to help you.

Questions about the Android app

To prevent GPS deviations, you will be prompted to correct your location manually. To do so, move the cross hairs to your position on the map, and confirm it under "Set location".
Furthermore, it is important to correct the viewing direction in which the picture was taken, because this is used to evaluate the information.

If you can't check off a waypoint because you would be putting yourself in danger by doing so, or because it simply isn't reachable, then you may still complete the job. Simply open the options menu and choose "waypoint not reachable". We will still check whether you were near the waypoint.

You may report a job as dangerous or impractical, with good reason, by going to the menu. Please click on "Report job" so that the information will be sent to us to disable the Job. We appreciate your assistance to improve our internal processes and those of our clients.

You can find the scouting jobs via the magnifying glass icon on the bottom toolbar. This way all scouting jobs in your area will be shown in one list.

If you click on the foto symbol you can edit your taken pictures. Here you have the option to "delete" or "edit" them. In the editing function you can change the position and view point i which the picture was taken.

No, you can also save your response and upload it at a later time. However, you are only guaranteed to be able to work the job for 3 hours after starting it. After 3 hours the Job will be opened back up for other Jobbers to start. Unfortunately, if another Jobber uploads their response before you do, you may no longer upload your response.

With the new on-site-jobalert you are automatically informed about new job in your surroundings. As soon as you are in the immediate vicinity of a new Job you will receive a push-message (see below) in real-time to make you aware of the job.

To keep you up to date about new jobs, your phone regularly checks for new jobs when you move and gives you feedback about jobs in your immediate surroundings.

A long battery life is important to us. Accordingly, we have designed the on-site jobalerts as energy-saving as possible.

If you do not want your battery to be affected at all by this, then you can disable the function. To do so go to the menu and select "on-site jobalerts" and disable the "on-site jobalerts" switch.

Questions about the iPhone app

If you want to report a job as dangerous or as inexaecutable, then,you can do so with a suitable reason via the "report job" button. We receive the information and lock the job. We thank you for your assistance in helping us improve our internal processes and those of our costumers.

You can find scouting jobs via the magnifying glass symbol on the upper bar. By clicking on the button, scouting jobs in your area will be revealed. A scouting job can, for example, be reporting new restaurant or store openings in the area.

You can cancel a job in the view in which you write your response. To do so, you need to choose the corresponding option in the menu bar (top right).
